hover fly on daisy - I'd never even heard of a hover fly until I saw them on other people's shots on 365
Everyday for the last 7 days my shots have been taken within 4 metres of the front door to my house. I think I really need to get in the car and go a little farther afield soon. I have been having a bit of a rest after busy work away from home for the last 12 months. My road trip keeps getting pushed back so I can get some maintenance jobs done around the house but now I think my road trip will start by the end of the week.
I love those little buggers - the great thing about them is that they stand very still and let you take a great picture of them, like you showed us here. Hope you have a wonderful trip, already looking forward to seeing the pictures of it!

That's a gorgeous shot, Megan! Love hoverflies, and that daisy, together with the wonderful dof, is perfect. Yes, hoverflies seem to feature quite often on 365. My husband thought they were native bees until I told him otherwise!
