Another shot from my road trip to Budapest - it was a lovely city. This area had some really fun signs stuck in the grass - instead of the usual "don't walk on the grass" one sees they were far more interesting, I only wish I had taken photos of them to remember what they said, but given this was the film days one tended to take shots more conservatively. I remember one sign saying "tourists, ignore the guides" "throw away your guidebooks and just enjoy" then they became more random "be aware of stereotyped perception", sage advice indeed.
I loved using b&w film in these ancient places, perhaps it is a cliche, but that doesn't bother me, they just look right in b&w

Now I remember hearing that if a statue has a horse with legs on the floor it means something, if it has legs in the air it means something else (like chap died in battle), but I don't remember what three-legged horse means or if it applies to Hungary at all. I'll put it on the 'to-do list'.
