In the Summer months they held a sound and light show at the mosque, the history and story of this beautiful mosque (and Hagia Sofia which was behind me) - various coloured lights illuminated the building and I took a shot when the mosque was looking its blue-est -afterall it is known as the Blue Mosque
No tripod, no timer/shutter release on me, I stood back from the crowd and used a rubbiish bin as support and crossed my fingers
