I love that the bride and groom posed for a shot with some tourists at the shrine, it was a lovely relaxed candid moment.
I also like this shot because it displays the bride's elaborate hairstyle with ornaments which were hidden by the hood in the other shots. The head gear and the elaborate multilayers of kimono would be very heavy.

This does look much happier. but I assume that they are all happy only the formal part is done without so much smiling. I love looking at your Japanese Weddings series and as always love you stories/information that go with it!
These wedding shots are fascinating!! Will they have photos in western dress as well I wonder - my daughter sees lots of brides having photos taken when she's doing her tour guiding in the summer - apparently the dresses are hired for the photos but I can't remember if it's a chinese or japanese thing...
