On this day ....12 months ago .... I spent a lot of time trying to get a photo of an Australian Ringneck parrot
I saw them feeding at the roadside when I was on my road trip in South Australia, but they proved elusive, taking off whenever I stopped my car or pointed a camera at them.
The mature adults head is black, as this one has a brownish head it is probably a juvenile
I have not taken (m)any photos lately so have decided to look back through my photos and have an "on this day" theme, this was on this day 1 year ago.
