B&W infrared 850nm - tree ferns off Maroondah Hwy near Healesville

Straight out of Camera - no adjustments at all.

I have been absent due to the fact I have had next to no internet access while I was down south visiting my family for Christmas, after a 10.5 hour drive yesterday I arrived back home. There is a stretch of mountainous winding road along the Great Dividing Range near Healesville which I love, but the road is very narrow with scant opportunity to pull over for a photo. Yesterday I spotted a couple of places so doubled back for some photos and was really taken with some of the shots with y infrared camera.

The Black Spur? spiritual place I think. Mountain ash are just divine there, aren't they? I like this one though in IR. Nice feel to it.

@buggirl yep, The Black Spur, gorgeous stretch of road, not fun driving when it is busy though. Any time I have driven it I have always wanted to stop and take photos, but there aren't many safe places to stop. I often wish I could be a passenger and hang out the window and take shots and leave the driving to someone else.
