same subject tuesday - toronto's old city hall

the main entrance of the structure that faces south features a narrow circular tower. this serves as a balance to the off-centered clock tower. at some point i shall go back there and try to get some interior shots.

today it was a sorry weather, windy, pissy rain, cold and just plain miserable and i didn't want to get my nikon wet. also i'm paranoid that some glass panes from the high rises would come off and kill me, or worse maim me. a woman died last night when a sign off a home depot roof flew off because of the high winds and struck her dead on the back of her head. what a way to die. in the past right around where our office tower is, the neighbouring buildings had some of their glass windows blown off, or slabs of hardened snow would fall off the buildings. that would not be a nice way to expire, i would think.

thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for your kind views and comments. i truly appreciate them.

I did hear about that lady. That is just horrible. Great perspective on the old city hall though
