Beautiful capture...very sharp and well composed. What a change from your usual cityscapes and HDR's...proves that you can do just anything with your camera!
Excellent focus on this very pretty butterfly! I think with PP - its a mathematical equation that is made as the number of favs as a proportion of followers. You have a tremendous number of followers which is very worth while having but as you say, its nice to see a photo of your own amongst all the other brilliant ones on PP.
Really pretty shot Taffy. I managed to get a few good ones once in a tropical butterfly house but the ones in their natural habitat are so much harder to capture well as they flit from flower to flower so quickly.
You made your own luck by just being ready and having the skill. What really works for me in this shot the limited colour palate of the butterfly, flow and background. Many would have seen but not been capable of taking this image.
A beautiful capture! Such a lovely butterfly and the tones of the background blend perfectly! I am on the lookout for dragons but it's just a bit early here for the big boys. I want to get one in flight - not easy!
Dragonflies are on my bucket list, they are so skittish!
