Today, my father-in-law, Dennis Coté, died at the age of 97. He was a good man. He lived his entire life on the Manitoba prairie, working first as a farmer and later for the Canadian National Railway, where he ended his career as a conductor. Here he is in December 2013, when he visited us in Toronto, coming on the train of course. He had a genuine interest in and curiosity about people. (On this trip, he recounted stories about the people he had met on the train.) He was open and non-judgmental, knowing that we all make mistakes in life but we can pick ourselves up and carry on. Today is a day to mourn and remember a good man.
So sad when we lose the ones we love , He sounds to have been a good upstanding man and will be missed by those who knew him - My condolences to you and his family !
