I met Khashi today. He was sitting outside the Conservatory of Music playing the kamancheh, an Iranian bowed string instrument. He described this music as "sad and sorrowful," and I would agree, but there is something transcendental about it, too, I think. I've attached a link to a 4-minute YouTube. See what you think.
Khashi was meeting with people at the Conservatory today, hoping to make plans for his future studies. Unfortunately, the pandemic is preventing in-class sessions for the time being.
