Another Casualty

Yet another casualty of the pandemic, this is the Hudson's Bay department store in my downtown neighbourhood. I'm not a fan of shopping, so I've appreciated this store as a one-stop-shop. A fire sale is underway, but when it's over, it really will be over.

So many stores have closed.Our department stores in town have closed, there's nothing to go into town for now. Unfortunately it's just a dump ,full of pound stores and not much else.

@ludwigsdiana That's a good point, Diana. I know that some people have the option of being transferred to another branch, but not all of them. I spoke to one woman who is planning on retiring (quite happily). I hope those who are let go get a decent severance at least.
