A Day for Peace

On this International Day of Peace, here is another view from the Toronto Peace Garden, with the eternal flame for hope, the pool of water for the renewal of life, and the arched structure, symbolizing shelter and community. One more element not captured in this photo is the incomplete roof, symbolizing "the vulnerability of our efforts to achieve peace."
