Day two of an air quality alert in our area due to wildfires in Quebec and Ontario's north. But in fact, more than 400 wildfires are currently raging throughout the country. Homes lost and people displaced- a horrific scene. So grateful to the firefighters who are risking their lives to try to extinguish these fires.
Air quality was not great here today and supposed to be worse tomorrow but we have been lucky in comparison to some areas more directly in the wind's path. Your yellow irises look lovely and not too hazy from the smokey skies.
