Water drop by aecasey

Water drop

Today's word was water, and I was determined to get my first water drop photo. Some hundred shots later I still have much to learn. I had a lot of trouble with the focus, but here's the best for tonight. I will undoubtedly revisit this at some future date so it will be nice to have a "before" and "after".

Great capture after much perseverance tried it ages ago not sure it was as good as this might revisit it and try again!

That's really good April, I also struggled with focus when trying a crown for the water subject. Think a Google is needed. I think I might have needed more light??

I think it's great. Did you change it to black & white?

@amyamoeba @monoglow @paul2782 Thank you. Digital does make it easy to persist in trying to get that one shot.
@pixiemac I did have the area flooded with light. Think my water was too deep for a good water crown. May try a cookie sheet next.
@luckyhusker44 This is actually one of the practise shots with clear water. After I got it I added a lovely blue food coloring and purple drops. Never got another sharp shot.

I think it's a great shot! I've never done one either, but want to someday. I love the way it towers up like that! Great job!
