Woke to sunshine and warming temperatures with an anticipation of getting a beautiful snow photo. However, once I left the yard I was buffeted by strong winds moving the snow in the fields into drifts. I tried a few shots, but finally gave up. So much for a scenic "field of snow" photo. I'm sure there will be other opportunities. (The grainy texture to this picture is blowing snow.)
@paul2782 The fields north of the house are miles of open space which, in blowing winds, can be rather inhospitable. The depth of the drifts there caught my by surprise, and I needed 4WD to get back home.
