The word for today is "hat" and I've had this old, beloved cowboy hat in mind for a photo for quite awhile. It held up to wind, dirt, rain, snow, and sun for many seasons before it was finally retired to the hat rack. It no longer offers much protection from the weather, but it sure holds a lot of memories.
@karenzachary@luckyhusker44 Thank you. It was a gray, overcast day with no sunshine so I was surprised to get this much light with the barn door open. Hoping for sun tomorrow ... the words are "sun" and "snow" ... :o)
