calla lilly

Brought home a beautiful purple calla lilly. I love the soft curves and shape of this flower, and thought the purple would lend itself to an interesting black and white image. I am not completely satisfied with this, but do love the flow of the curves.

I particularly like the hint of the background flower in this. I bought some of these to photograph once and just couldn't get it right, I think these flowers in particular are really hard to photograph. Well done.
