I stopped to get gas on my way home from DIA and discovered a skateboard park behind the gas station. I've always wanted to try to get images of skateboarders, and after watching for awhile I approached them (well ... hand signs from a distance) and they gave me the thumbs up (yeah ... literally ... still not brave enough to approach strangers). Pleasant weather, kids dedicated to perfecting their tricks, and a nice break from my drive.
Cool action shot, nice processing. Level: sign language mastered! I'm on the same level,... but avoid taking pictures from strangers, when ever I can. You are so brave, thanks for sharing.
You are great with these action shots! No wonder they wanted you to stay on for more pictures.....did you send/give them the photos for their use? When I photograph people in public spaces and they approach me I always ask them if they would like me to send them their photos....they usually like that!
