I used to have flax in my yard, but it disappeared a few years ago. I see it every now and then along the roadways where it is used as ground cover after highway improvements. Found these growing next to a sign as I drove into town, and vowed to stop on my way home to get a picture filled with blue. I forgot they drop their petals in the evenings, though, and felt lucky to find a few left with their little buds waiting for tomorrow's morning sun.
