My sister leaves tomorrow, though I didn't know that when I visited my folks today. Her visit seems all too brief, though to her I am sure it feels otherwise. This is her favorite tree to visit when she's home. It sits apart and alone next to an overlook at the top of a scenic canyon drive. She usually photographs it from the other side, but I wanted to try a silhouette against the setting sun. Happily, I caught a sunburst peeking through!
