2016 ended with a hard drive crash and that panic that comes from not having specifically backed up a single photograph in the past 8 1/2 years. Thankfully (I hope) my "time capsule" backups will salvage my negligence. Eldest and youngest were able to locate my photographs within my latest "time capsule" backup, and even opened one on her computer. So, I am leaving behind the malfunctioning shutter of my much used T3i, and my well used iMac, and looking toward an 80D and a new iMac at the dawn of 2017. Farewell 2016!
Scary, that hard drive crash, but Yahoo! for "time capsule" backups and the retrieval of your pictures. That'd be sickening to loose so many photos. Even one lost one is a terrible thing. Perfect title for this shot. That frosty tail hints at how cold it's been at your place.
April, we're get pushed partners this week. For your challenge, I'd like you to do some "shooting blind" as described in this technique challenge from a couple of years ago: http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/22992/technique-challenge-28-shooting-blind
There are all sorts of possibilities. I took pictures for that challenge over a tall back yard fence. I hope you can have some fun with that. I look forward to seeing what challenge you give me.
