Not many birds venture into the yard anymore with all the barn cats on the prowl. Here's one brave little junco who was tucked back into the bare lilac branches for a little while today.

Beautiful. We did not see many Juncos in our area at all this year. It was sure cold enough for them but it might be that it is too windy here.
