I returned to Squaw Creek and spent a few hours walking along the creek in awe of the glowing yellow display of the cottonwoods and ash trees. It was the quietest, most peaceful and enjoyable few hours I've had in months and months and months and months! I'm hoping freezing temperatures will hold off a few more days so that I can squeeze in one more afternoon of the autumn leaves before they are gone.
I have been disappointed this year in being able to capture a scene where all the trees have turned. Most of the turning has been spotty. Then those drop and more turn color. This is gorgeous
