plains milkweed by aecasey

plains milkweed

This tiny milkweed has taken up residence in the north windbreak under a big pine tree. It is only about 8" tall, with tiny, tiny flowers. A few years ago I noticed a monarch caterpillar amongst the plants. No such luck this year, but the stand is expanding. If only a monarch or two were here to find it.
Beautifully captured with strong details in each element
