Autumn colors here are a slow, drawn out affair. The grasses changed colors weeks ago. Now the Ash trees are joining in, as well as the currants and chokecherries. The full effect will come when the cottonwoods change. They are always last, so that's a week or so away. If only the freeze will hold off long enough.
