I was giving the dog a haircut this morning when I heard a buzzing sound. A hummingbird was checking out my hanging baskets! Rushed in the house, grabbed the camera, but I was too late. Later in the day the baskets were visited by this swallowtail. Lovely consolation, but I wish I hadn't missed the hummingbird.
