My parents loved celebrating the 4th of July. Dad, particularly, loved fireworks. For several decades he was "Mr. Fireworks", collecting money and buying the fireworks for the town's fireworks show after the rodeo. That meant we always had a special box of fireworks full of surprises. He loved shooting fireworks with my sisters and I when we were young, and then with my children. Recognizing this may be our last year to shoot fireworks at my parents, we gathered with my son and his family to enjoy all the fireworks in town and shoot some of our own. It was a cool, pleasant night, with loads of aerial displays from neighbors all around town. A very enjoyable evening, and one to remember.
Suzanne @ankers70 ... Oops ... I was going to use this for my challenge, but I was thinking blue hour and the challenge was golden hour. And ... the people are barely in frame. Sorry ... I'm really never in town or around people during golden hour and I just plain missed my chance here, having arrived during blue hour because we were doing fireworks.
I think the photo is terrific and it's all about interpretation in a non-onerous way, it seems to me anyway. I set the challenge and I think you met it if in a rather sideways fashion!!
NB. You haven't tagged it get-pushed-622 so it doesn't appear on the page.
NB Wait to see what a mess I made of your challenge!! @aecasey
