Have a Seat

Not all pictures are pretty. This is the inside of the house whose image I posted a few days ago and to answer a question asked there, no. ...At least I truly hope no one is living there now.

Be well, y'all--peace!
Great place for photography though

you had the guts to step in there? Or is this a picture taken from the window?
it is interesting, though, that besides the shelf and the bucket, there are only seats there.
not all pictures are pretty. that is life: not all is pretty.

Now, I could tidy this up... nothing I like more than making a home out of anything!

Oh dear what a sad sight.

Such a sad waste of a neglected home.

Desolate... lovely light and shadows and perfect in B&W.

Most excellent! The slight tilt lends to the atmosphere of unsettledness and unease.

This kind of picture always makes me wonder about the story. Who left? How did they leave?

This is a brilliant shot Jenn, urban decay makes for cool photo’s

Looks like it's in desperate need of some tlc. Sad to see a home going to ruin

The intensity of the disrepair increases the questions of how it got to be that way. It may not be "pretty" but I'm always drawn to the random way abandoned homes seem to be "decorated". This shot is no exception. Glad you were brave enough to step inside and get the shot!

Most depressing looking...but what a great storytelling scene!

Greta processing for the scene

Tells a story of loss and decay. Like how it is just slightly off kilter.

A friend and College classmate of mine, the late, great, Jac Zinder, produced a CD entitled Chairs I have know. This reminds me of that, Jenn. What a stark and evocative Slice of Life capture. Very moving.
