Dragonflies can symbolize many things, commonly transformation of some kind. In some Native American cultures, they represent the souls of those who have passed into the realm of the nonphysical. For some reason, I had always associated my niece with these marvelous insects so here I used a photo my sister took of her daughter who struggled in life and combined it with one of my own dragonfly images. An extreme dose of ETSOI and experimenting in various programs was used to create this composite.
This is very beautiful. My condolences to your sister and you. Two days ago marked the passing of my nephew in what must have been similar circumstances.

This is gorgeous- processed to perfection! So many have been touched by similar circumstances and I think it helps to know you're not alone. This is a lovely image of hope to me in that respect. Hope that others understand.
