Didn't wander out of the house today so had to find something around the house to shoot. ...Again. Okay, yeah, the rose is more than a bit cliché perhaps, but there ya go; it's what I had! I used it mostly just to fool around with textures and tone, so not my favorite image ever, but I did learn a thing or two...
Your photography is so evocative. This almost captures the scent of an old fashioned rose, which is to die for... and I would, almost ,to achieve a shot like this!Beautiful.
@kjarn@pixelchix@sarethephotos@gavincci@onefree1isme@moominmomma@pfmandeville Thanks everyone--I really, really appreciate all your kind comments! @bosschuster Thanks, Richard! For this I converted to b/w and added a touch of sepia tone. Then I lightly added a couple of textures and masked them from the rose. Finally, I added a little color back to the flower and added a frame. :-)
