My friend and colleague completed her Master of Interdisciplinary Studies with a month-long exhibition of her textile designs. Her work is inspired by the natural world, from the patchwork of fields seen from an airplane window to the smallest of seedlings growing on the forest floor. She combines painting, embroidery, hand-dyed fabric and actual seeds in unique combinations. I attended her closing Artist Talk this afternoon and fell in love with all her work. She is a true artist.
