This is the home of a third grade teacher where we had our end-of-the-year faculty dinner. She is mother of four and wife of a doctor and a wonderful relaxed host. In fact she hosted last year's party and it was so lovely we did it again! We had drinks in the garden and a lovely buffet dinner afterwards with people eating at tables on the lawn or in the cool of the house. What a lovely way to wind down after the last day of school.
Everything about the setting and the photo and what you shared about the graciousness of your hostess makes the scene welcoming! It's no wonder everyone looked forward to meeting here again! Beautiful!
@phil_howcroft Graduation for the Upper School is this morning and then our summer begins. I work 4 weeks of summer programs at school so I will be around there off and on through out the summer.
Such a beautiful place for your last day the end of the year faculty dinner. some ladies are born to be gracious hostesses...I would be much to nervous when having a big party like that. happy holidays..until school starts again.
