You probably think I am employing hyperbole when I call this chair a work of art ,but in fact we bought it at an art gallery. John and I stopped in a local gallery just to see what was new. We strolled around the whole exhibit without saying too much. We left and got back in our car. Then John turned to me and said, "The only thing that appealed to me in the entire show was the chair." "Me too!" I agreed. We continued on home but thought about it for a few days and then returned and brought the chair home . It has given us great pleasure ever since.
I have two friends with work of art chairs. If you lived in Portland, I'd think yours was made by the same woman who made theirs. Art provides daily joy.
I really like the fabric and colors! Art is more than just a painting or sculpture. It can be anything that sets the artist's creative skills in motion. Shall we say, "art is the product of the creator"?
