No, not my neighborhood. These are actually some of the homes my daughter gets to enjoy on her walk to the beach. Her house is very nice but it is a house, not a mansion. These estates may be just across Humphrey Street, but they might as well be in another country.
Wow....one is nicer than the next...whenever I see so many BIG homes / mansions like this I wonder what all these people do for a living .... who can afford such places...oh, that's right, I am a teacher...and a single woman at that... I guess I am lucky to even own my own home...well, truth be told, I only own about half of it .... BB&T Bank owns the other half!
Lovely to look at, but would I want to maintain one? Probably not! I'm happy with what God gave me. But they are beautiful- no argument there. I especially like the one with the turret.
Such lovely homes - I love the style of these - so different from ours here in Australia. The roof angles are so steep.
