Street Art of Another Sort

Artistry can be found all around you. I doubt that this was created by an international, or even nationally-recognized, artist. Some entrepreneur, trying to make his little business stand out among all the other small shops in the neighborhood, engaged a local talent who added some creative touches to this sign and ended up with a small work of art.

I enjoy both collage and assemblage...so this captures my fancy immediately! It's certainly a creative work that would draw me in to see what the store contains...and that's the point! (I'd want to go home with the photo, too!)

Creative and clever. Some sign companies are pretty talented when it comes to unique signs like this- so I wouldn't be surprised either way. Whoever did it, did a great job!
