A busy morning at Westminster Presbyterian Church. A carol sing, followed by intergenerational crafts and finally, what we'd all been waiting for -- the children's pageant. Here are a few highlights from this busy morning. And the day wasn't over yet! From 4-6 in the courtyard of WPC were a live nativity, carriage rides on Monument Avenue, carol singers, good food and all sorts of fun. I was a greeter from 4-5 and deliberately left my camera at home. Of course I regretted not getting some wonderful pictures, but sometimes you just have to be totally present.
That looks like a great way to spend the morning! And I agree with you - there are times when it is better to be present and have the memories in your head, than pictures in your camera...
