The End of an Era

When John’s car wouldn’t start, we were forced to make a difficult decision — invest in possibly expensive repair work or sell a car which doesn’t get driven much anymore. (a 2012 car with only 20,000 miles) We decided to face reality and become a one car family. Here I am memorializing our farewell. “Mia Kia” was a great reliable vehicle in the ten years we had her, taking us from Boston to Gainesville many times before we switched to air travel.

Tough decision. When our old Acura hit 200,000 miles, the air conditioning went out and we reluctantly parted with my all-time favorite car.

We get very attached to our cars surprisingly…I would be sad to see mine go….hope you manage with one car….I think we would find it a struggle but will do the same in another few years I expect.
