Richmond, VA must be the oak pollen capital of the world. Originally I wanted to capture the amount of pollen that covers every surface during this season. Capturing the building reflections just made it more interesting. Today after major thunderstorms rolled through the area, much of the pollen has been washed away. (Even the puddles were yellow)
I like the reflection! Very nice! But I also like the red coloring in this picture....! That's interesting that you mention the pollen. My sister was talking about it a few days ago. I had notidea that it was that bad.
I love the color of the shutters on the bulding which are almost the same color as the car -- nice deep rich colors. Up the coast here in Maryland the pollen has been covering the surface of everything outside. The yellow puddles are interesting -- until you realize what all that pollen does to the inside of your head. The reflection of the building on your car is awesome......you have no need for "wax on -- wax off".
