Pumpkin family

My neighbors really have the Halloween spirit. Not only did they carve a great Jack o'lantern but they actually have it lit well before Halloween eve. I hope you can read the words "Trick or treat" carved into the skin. It's really quite elegant.

Cool looking carving. One year we had stencils and attemped this type of carving -- not easy at all. LOVE your photo of this scene.

Thanks for your nice comments. I used my semi-DSLR camera to get a better night shot than my P&S could manage. Then I added the HDR effect from Picnik.
