The latest in an occasional series of Unidentified Growing Objects. This is a planting that is part of the landscaping at our condo. Later in the summer its glossy foliage stands up well to the brutal heat of central Virginia

Looks similar to the geraldine wax flower.

The thumbnail had me thinking lily of the valley but seeing it larger, I don't think it is. I am curious to find out what it is now, too!
