A few of the quotes and signs that caught my eye as we toured great independent schools in San Francisco. Math is taught in the Infinity Room. The menu on the bottom is a momento of our last dinner prepared by the chef at The Hamlin School from local ingredients. The Whole Earth Library is the community library of the Thoreau Center in the Presidio of San Francisco focusing on sustainability. I included the other signs because they speak to the humanity of the schools we visited.
I especially like the upper left-- Carlos Oliva Head of Maintenance Terrific Person. How nice to put that on the sign and he really must be for them to put it there!
