Last of the Lily

This is sort of a bizarre picture, I admit, but there was something intriguing about the day lily once it had shed its petals. It looks like an entirely different species.

I really like your composition here, Allison. I do love the different stages of life in flowers. I often photograph them when they're all the way dead. I think most people think I'm strange to do that.
