We are so lucky at our school to have an enthusiastic cadre of parent volunteers. Two moms spent a day and a half working on this bulletin board, linking this year's school theme of "Oh The Places We'll Go" to all the great stories from around the world that we have in the library. These artistic women enable us to turn our attention to ordering and preparing new books for next week's arrival of the students. It's a wonderful partnership, and our boys and girls really benefit from our cooperation.
What a cool thing to do. Count your blessings Allison, I had a teacher last week almost in tears because not one parent showed up for Parent / Teacher conferences. These volunteers are exceptional.
@sarasdadandmom That is such a sad commentary on those parents!
What a great bulletin board Allison. Your school is exceptionally blessed as you know. My former school had a small core that were sold out for the kids, but many were lack luster in participation. I don't understand that- probably never will.
This is wonderful Alison. When I was teaching I always thought displays around the school were so important. We could do with one of these to pin point all the 365 ers!
