Looking Out

Irene from the comfort of my living room. This dogwood tree was whipping like mad. My neighbor took no precautions and left his patio umbrella up. The first wind gust turned it inside out.
My husband noted that we have lived through an earthquake and a hurricane in one week, and he'd never been able to say THAT before. (And I hope we never will again)

Wow- that's the kind of wind people were panicked into thinking would hit here by the media. We did have winds, but nothing blew over. Great shot- glad you could take it from inside your cozy home.

What a crazy week...an earthquake followed by a hurricane. My born & raised in North Dakota brother and sister-in-law just added those two things to their experiences list. (And all of us back in ND sat here and worried about them and prayed!) :)
