A friend and colleague appeared at the door of my office this morning to tell me there were some really pretty blue flowers on the construction fence. I love it when friends get caught up in 365. We hurried down to the fence in question to get a few pictures before these early risers had finished blooming. Blair liked the contrast between the gritty construction site and the delicate blue flowers. I was intrigued by the scattering of pollen on the thresh hold of the blossom. It was a great way to get a jump on my photo of the day. I want to thank Blair I for her assistance in finding this beautiful flower.
I love morning glories, and it's neat that you captured the pollen on this one! Blair definitely had a good find. (And now I have the Oasis song in my head, (What's the Story) Morning Glory.)
It is a pretty one. It is neat when others know what we do, because they often will pull us aside, and tell us about this fantastic thing to photograph. This is a beauty Alison.
I've been amazed and touched too Allison by non-photographer friends who've become really involved in this. I think it speaks for how alive this project is. Love your morning glories - pretty, pretty blue.
Allison, the title of your image is the same as a song / album from a UK band called Oasis !! They were massive in the mid 1990's ...two rebellious brothers from Manchester...anyway I digress ...good on Blair for finding this lovely flower for you to work your magic on :),,,btw a band called Blur (almost the same as Blair) were Oasis's main rivals in the Brit Pop era of the mid 1990's :)
