The Old and The New

At the Folk Festival you can browse historical exhibits at the Tredegar Ironworks building dating from the Civil War, while the modern day office buildings of downtown Richmond loom in the background. I love this aspect of Richmond. It does have its foot print in both worlds.

Many cities do- this reminds me of Paterson NJ- similar style mills with modern buildings in mixed in for good measure. Nice shot Allison!
