My neighborhood is FULL of squirrels, all busy stocking up for the winter. Every time i try to snap a picture, the squirrel in question shoots up a tree and then peers around the corner to confirm my presence. I just can't seem to outsmart them. I had never paid much attention to how they transported their groceries until I looked closely at this picture. I'll bet he could carry a soap bubble without popping it.
What a great shot! I love the way they carry the acorns. Our squirrels are a bit clumsy though. They drop as many as they keep! Had to fav this one- it's just perfect!
