360 on 365

I met this little girl yesterday on my walk. She was accompanied by her Dad who explained to me the unusual nature of this vehicle. Notice the back wheels. Because of their size and shape, they provide a much better center of gravity and enable the rider to spin 360 degrees without fear of tipping over. This trike was a Christmas present from her Grandma, and as you can see from her proud smile, it was a great hit!
Here's the description from the website:

A reinvention of the classic 3-wheeler of the 1970s, the Razor RipRider 360 Drifting Ride-On Caster Tricycle rides like no other, thanks to dual-inclined caster wheels. The large pneumatic wheel on the front ensures easy pedaling and provides complete control. The casters on this Razor Caster trike allow resistance-free drifting and spinning action, and the freewheel system invites incredible coasting speeds. The super-cool, steel-frame design will make on-lookers dizzy as you spin out. The MX-style handlebar enhances the look and lends a stylish touch. The adjustable handbrake and rubber grips provide the necessary support and grip and ensure your child's safety. With new freewheel system in place, this kids' big wheel trike will allow fabulous coasting speed. The Razor RipRider 360 Tricycle also features a double crown fork design that gives the stiffness required to handle rough terrains.
What a great trike! I've never seen anything like this....

This reminds me of the "Big Wheels" my sons had. Only those were lower to the ground and you could tip over in them quite easily if you were going too fast- which both of them did!! This one looks and sounds like a lot of fun- something the grandsons might enjoy in the future!
