Occupy DC

On the 4th grade field trip to Washington DC, the weather was crisp and cold. Much too cold to be living in a tent. These appear to be the temporary shelters of the Occupy DC protestors. I didn't see many people. Maybe they were huddled in their sleeping bags.

good spot allison, we have some of these 'protesters' in the centre of Nottingham......I have mixed feelings about them....everyone has a right to peaceful protest...but a tented village in a city centre.....it's unhygienic, dirty and a blot on the landscape.

That's pretty interesting - and I do like the coloring to really highlight the tents. I've only seen one of the Occupy tent cities - in Bloomington, IN.
