Here in Richmond we've all been focusing on the air-borne pollen, but these maple seeds are worth noting too. I've never seen such enormous clusters of seeds all tightly packed together on a branch. When they break free and start twirling through the air, it should be quite a sight!
Interesting to see so many clustered together on one branch..I think I wrote once if I could sell these little twirlers when swept together in a big heaps (we usually have that many) I would've some extra pocket money.
